Brand Iron Launches the New Racca's Pizzeria Napoletana Brand

Formerly Marco’s Coal-Fired Pizza, Racca’s Pizzeria Napoletana is the only Neapolitan pizzeria certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Colorado. Looking to expand the success of their first two restaurants by opening two more, owners Mark and Kristy Dym partnered with Brand Iron to develop a refreshed brand authentic to their Italian origins, friendly atmosphere, and award-winning pizza.

Situation

When brand confusion became a pressing issue, Marco’s Coal-Fired Pizza joined forces with Brand Iron to launch Racca’s Pizzeria Napoletana, a new brand with the same genuine Italian feel and certified delicious food. Needing an update to their client-facing and in-house messaging and brand design, Brand Iron stepped in to deliver materials to reflect the new energy of the company as they expand to new markets.

Strategy

In order to transition Marco’s into Racca’s without losing loyal customers, Brand Iron developed materials that incorporated updated design while staying true to the brand values define the spirit of the company. With colors reminiscent of the Mediterranean and the lush Italian countryside, Brand Iron incorporated an invigorating color palette into the new menu, table-toppers, and restaurant signage. A hint of Art Deco in the logo design works with triangular shapes to pay tribute to Racca’s previous brand look.

Results

With Brand Iron’s help, Racca’s smoothly transitioned into their new brand and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Their fresh look delivers the unique identity they can truly call their own.
